Frequently Asked Questions
What does the typical hiring process look like?

The first step is a virtual interview with a member of Human Resources, the hiring manager, and potentially other team members. Step two is an onsite interview with an expanded VELCO team. From there the hiring team will make a final decision. Once the final candidate is selected, but before an offer is made, we will request three professional references (one of which must be a current or most recent manager). After reference checks are completed, we will move forward to the offer stage which includes a physical and drug screening. All VELCO employment offers are contingent upon references, background check, physical and drug screening.

How long does the process usually take?

It depends on the volume of applicants, the position, and the time it takes to review the applicants. Generally, applicants who are invited for an interview are contacted within two to three weeks of the application posting date.

Does VELCO offer relocation assistance?

Is VELCO remote, hybrid, or on-site?

This depends on the role, we have a diverse workforce with employees falling into three main categories. If I accept an offer from VELCO, when will I be expected to start?
