VELCO’s Advancing Grid Intelligence through Learning Experiences (AGILE) Program is an eight to ten week summer internship opportunity for college students, both undergraduate and graduate. Based on principles of agile project management, AGILE Interns will make meaningful and tangible contributions to VELCO’s strategic projects to maintain or enhance the reliability, affordability and sustainability of Vermont's transmission system.
An internship at VELCO provides learning opportunities to college students who are interested in careers in power or electric utility engineering, environmental management, technology, telecommunications, and other related fields. It is also an opportunity for VELCO to strengthen students’ knowledge, skills, and potential for future employment. VELCO’S internship program is an 8 to 10 week opportunity that typically begins in June and ends in August.
